Program Assistant
This part-time position is important to ongoing operations by providing support for the core office staff. We are seeking someone with musical background who has office-related skills, as well as experience in either a music organization or non-profit. ESYO provides opportunities for children and youth to learn a stringed instrument, and play in an appropriate-level ensemble. String Academy Teacher
Join our String Academy Team
ESYO is looking for enthusiastic beginning strings teachers for the 2023-24 school year. Our partnership with the 4J school district is going on 25 years! Our String Academy program introduces children to strings at an early age (3rd-4th-5th grade), and we provide the instruments! Schedules and times vary per school, and and some classes are in conjunction with the BEST after-school enrichment program. Classes meet twice a week for 45 mins. before or after school on site. Our families have easier access,  and income-based scholarships are available to any family!

Orchestra Registrar
ESYO is looking for parents or others interested in serving as Registrar to one of our ensembles. Registrars are a critical part of the orchestra’s success, serving as liaisons to families and conductors. They help coordinate activities associated with their orchestra, including attending rehearsals, performances, events and auditions; taking attendance; making sure students have everything they need to participate; helping with receptions and awards; and maintaining communication with orchestra members and ESYO staff. They work with the conductor to answer questions and help parents get the information they need. And it’s fun to be close to the action! Please email your interest to holly@esyorchestras.org
