The ESYO Ambassador Musician Program (AMP) empowers advanced ESYO orchestra members to become advocates for music education and performance. AMP offers unique opportunities for student musicians to share their passion for music with the community. In return for their participation in ESYO outreach efforts, AMP members receive support for private lessons, fostering their own continued musical development.

Performance Track
The performance track offers string players in both Youth Symphony (YS) and Junior Orchestra (JO) the chance to rehearse and learn chamber music with professional musicians and coaches, and to bring music to the community through small group performances at local events.
For each concert cycle, there will be a minimum of 2 performances with a maximum of 2 performances per month.
Mentorship Track
The mentorship track is exclusively for Youth Symphony (YS) members, allowing you to positively impact the learning experience of developing players. You’ll have the chance to mentor beginning string students in the String Academy 1 (SA1) program (for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders) or work with musicians in Little Symphony (LS) or String Academy 2 (SA2).
Private Lessons Scholarship (PLS) Credit Benefits
We are pleased to offer Private Lessons Scholarship (PLS) credits to all students actively engaged in our AMP program. Credits are awarded at the end of each concert cycle, providing meaningful support for your ongoing private instruction. These credits serve as a testament to your dedication and are granted to participants who consistently fulfill attendance standards. Ultimately, they reflect our commitment to fostering your continued musical excellence and helping you thrive
- YS Ambassador Musicians on the Performance Track: Receive $25 in PLS credit per performance.
- JO Ambassador Musicians on the Performance Track: Receive $100 in PLS credit plus an additional $25 PLS credit per performance.
- Ambassador Musicians on the Mentorship Track: Receive $50 per month in PLS credit, awarded at the end of each concert cycle.
Please note: There is a $500 earning cap on PLS credits for all individuals per season.
